6.2 Narrative Text

to amuse or entertain the readers with actual or imaginary experiences difference ways.
 




Generic Structure
1.      Orientation            : It set the scene and introduce the participants (it answers the question    : who,when,what,and where).
2.      Complication         : Tells the problems of the story and how the main characters solve them.
3.      Resolution             : The crisis is revolved, for better or worse.
Language Features
1.      The use of noun phrases (a beautiful princess, a huge temple )
2.      The use of connectives ( first, before that, then, finally )
3.      The use of adverbial phares of time and place ( in the garden, two ways ago )
4.      The use of simple past tense ( he walk away from the village )
5.      The use of action verb ( walk, slepp, wake up)
6.      The use of saying verb ( say, tell, ask)
7.      The use of thinking verb, felling verbs, verb senses (she fell hungry, she smelt something burning )

1.      Siswa secara berkelompok membuat kerangka karangan.
2.      Siswa secara berkelompok memproduksi teks narrative sesuai topic yang ditentukan guru.
3.      Siswa mengumpulkan hasil tulisan yang telah dibuat.

1.      Menulis sebuah teks narrative dengan topik yang dipilih sendiri secara individu.

1.    Siswa  dibantu guru menyelesaikan masalah yang dihadapi dalam menulis teks pesan singkat.
